First Timers

RALLY FIRST TIMER’S WELCOME

Dear CMCA Member and Rally First Timer,

Thank you for registering and choosing Hobart for your very first CMCA Rally.  A rally experience is one filled with wonderful memories and your first rally will always be one to remember.  Below are a few hints and tips to assist you.

Entry day is Thursday 7th February 2019, gates are open from 8am – 3:30pm although as a First Timer, we suggest you arrive by 2pm at the latest, so you can attend the First Timer’s meeting. Entry is via the entrance off Queens Walk

Upon your arrival, you will be met by our Rally Meet and Greet Team, who will hand you your Rally Bag, windscreen card and rally attendance cards. Please have your current membership card ready.

The Rally Siting Team will then direct you to your site, where you will be issued with a site number which will be recorded on your windscreen card and at TSR 2019 Rally office. This number will be used to locate you should the need arise. You will need to remember your site number as many activities that you will take part in at the rally will require you to list this number. A good way to remember it is to write it on your programme.

Once your vehicle is onsite, it is a good time to get to know your neighbours and get settled in. This will be a great opportunity to check out your Rally Programme; this lists all activities along with essential information that all rally attendees need to know.

Throughout the rally you will find members referring to you as a ‘First Timer’. Don’t be put off by this, as we have all been first timers at some stage. Your ‘First Timer’ card allows more experienced members to recognise you and lend a hand if needed.

You are invited to attend the First Timers Meeting in the Entertainment Arena at 3pm followed by Happy Hour – BYO glasses please, drinks will be supplied. We look forward to meeting you at some stage during the rally.

Should you need any more information prior to the rally, please email us on tasstaterally2019@gmail.com.

Updates and further information on the rally are also available on the website at https://www.tsr2019.com.

Safe travelling
